Joe Lycett is paying for free drinks at 30 pubs across the UK to highlight closures.
The Birmingham comedian announced the campaign during his Channel 4 programme, Live from The Lycett Arms.
Customers can claim a complimentary drink at participating venues on Friday, October 16.
Lycett has put money behind the bar at each pub taking part.
However, no Birmingham pub appears on the published list, despite the comedian’s links to the city.
The Red Lion in Wombourne is the only participating venue listed in the West Midlands.

Other pubs involved are spread across the country, including venues in London, Manchester, Sheffield, Bath, Brighton, Northampton and Cardiff.
Lycett said the campaign was intended to draw attention to the number of pubs closing across Britain.
